Our B-Ionic Magnesium supplement is a simple, one component liquid supplement which, when used in conjunction with our B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System, or Calcium Hydroxide (kalkwasser powder), will not disrupt the ionic balance of closed marine aquaria. Through the chemical process known as "ion-pairing", magnesium ion concentration influences the saturation point for calcium carbonate in solution. B-Ionic Magnesium does not contain nitrates, phosphates, organics, or chelating agents.
