Our Sock Hybritek Sumps have this style sponge and here are the replacements. The sponge can be ordered in many ways. The sponges measure 1.5" thick and 3.5" tall and vary based on length and porosity. The 48" length can be purchased for you to cut to size as well.

These kits are made from durable ABS plastic and cell cast acrylic and come in a variety of sizes and inlet / sock options. These are cut to size and easy to install into almost any aquarium or box that holds water. Such an easy way to add particulate filtration to any existing system! Just super glue or silicone in place with a glass tank, or if it's already an acrylic sump just use Weldon! The Dual 7" kit is where we get into some heavy customization options! We designed these to fit most stock 40 breeder aquariums, rim to rim. Since all 40BR are slightly different, this may fit perfect, or it may need just a slight shave. That being said, here are the ways we can customize it. The filter lid has two 7" filter socks. The inlets can be customized to about any configuration you want. By default, there is a single 1" inlet per sock. We can have two 1" inlets per sock, one or two 1.5" inlets per sock, one 2.0" inlet per sock or we can leave the top of the lid un-drilled and you can add whatever you'd like instead.

If you have wrasse or mandarin fish, you really need to have a great supply of Copepods for your fish to eat. If you just dump a pod culture into your refugium, sure they may populate but they have to then make it through the sponge, the filter, the pump and back into the tank and settle in there. Chances are, your population will dwindle. Our nearly indestructible Copepod Bunkers are made from ABS plastic with corrugated plastic "rooms" for the pods to settle in close together for increased reproduction rates. When the time comes to get the pods to the main tank, just remove the bunker (keep it in water) and put it in the main tank overnight. The pods will come out and inhabit the rocks and your fish will feast. Or, you can just dump the pods out into a fine net or container and empty that into the display tank. Did we mention these are made from a nearly indestructible plastic? So if you drop our Bunker, no worries! If you drop one of the acrylic hotels though, it has a very high chance to break. Our design is also much easier to take apart to clean and goes back together easily. You can also spin each individual level of the bunker to provide a different look and feel, too!

The 7" lid is designed to fit most 12" wide tanks and can be customized with one or two hose inlets (to go into the single sock). Inlet size is 1" by default. A 1.5" or 2.0" bulkhead can be substituted, but there's room enough for only one of those vs. two 1.0".
